A great advantage to locating a miniatures show in close proximity to one of the greatest cities in the world is the fact that there are many other attractions nearby-for those attending the show, and for those who love to travel with those attending the show. Broadway…’the Great White Way’…is a big attraction, and for the last few years, the organizers of the Guild Show have scheduled an optional side trip, taking in some of Broadway’s most popular shows.
This year’s selection is Motown the Musical, one of the newest hits on Broadway, featuring a lot of the music we’ve all grown up singing. The show tells the story of Berry Gordy, his life and career, through the music of Motown, the record company he formed and the acts he nurtured, including Smokey Robinson and the Miracles, Diana Ross and the Supremes, Stevie Wonder, Michael Jackson and Marvin Gaye.
The Broadway Night package includes transportation to and from the show and an orchestra ticket. You may also add the optional dinner at Tre Colori for an additional cost. More information and registration forms can be found on the website.
