The new show committee is hitting their stride and the first order of business was to sign the contracts for the 2013 show. Drum roll please….
After hearing of a conflict with the date of a major wholesale show, we renegotiated our contracts to accommodate those dealers whose business would be irrevocably affected. The move to August comes about as the Guild seeks to separate the show further from other shows taking place in the autumn months.
We also plan to continue the evolution of the show into an experience unique to the Guild, with special events, tours and classes taught by internationally renowned teachers. So next year, make it a family vacation destination! Summer means a multitude of cultural and sporting events will be taking place in and around New York City. The Teaneck Marriott is a very short and convenient bus ride from Manhattan, with far more affordable accommodations.
