It’s a mere 3 weeks or so until the shoppers, students and dealers begin arriving at the Teaneck Marriott in Teaneck, New Jersey for the classes, the parties and two full days of shopping that make up the annual IGMA Show. Those of us who will be dealers at the show, may be feeling a little trepidation as the date inches ever closer, will we finish all those new pieces we had planned on, but the excitement is also rising as we contemplate who and what we will see there.

Barbara Vajnar, ‘Bubba’, of Bubba’s Mini Country Cupboards will be there with her wonderful array of primitive styled country furniture. Yes, her business name indicates that cupboards are a speciality, but she also makes and sells beautiful rustic finished tables, chairs and other accessories to outfit the proper country style home or business.
Barbara first discovered the world of

miniatures when her children were very small so it wasn’t until many years later that she felt she had the time to really delve into the hobby. When a fire wiped out most of the collection she had been forming, she began to build furniture on her own and in 2006 she debuted as a dealer at her first show.
