The International Guild of Miniature Artisans cordially invites you to join us at the 2017 Guild Show, September 19-24, in Windsor, CT in our beautiful new venue, the Hartford/Windsor Marriot Airport. The show location offers easy access for drivers, flyers and train riders and is within easy reach of both Boston and New York City. This hotel offers a free airport shuttle service, as well as service anywhere in a 5 mile radius of the hotel. Included in our IGMA room rate is a full buffet breakfast for two for each room night. This is a prime opportunity for enjoying a superb miniature show and classes, as well as easy access to some of the world's most interesting historical sites.
The Guild is know around the world for its mission of promoting miniatures as an art form, and for the educational programs it sponsors in support of that mission. At the Guild Show you will be able to take part in classes, tour an historic site or attend a Broadway show at the beautiful Bushnell Theater, among many other options. The Guild Show itself will feature an outstanding selection of dealers from around the world, exhibits, silent and live auctions, a unique shopping area for younger miniaturists, and free crafting for families on Sunday afternoon. Throughout the week, participants will enjoy the company of their fellow miniaturists in a warm and inclusive environment.

Families are welcome to participate in the free crafting period to create a special miniature item.
Join the Show Committee for a Gala Event at the close of sales Saturday, September 23.
We have the pleasure and the honor to share with you Kaye Savage Browning’s presentation on “The Beginning of a Passion,” describing her path into miniatures which culminated with the Kathleen Savage Browning Miniatures Collection at the Kentucky Gateway Museum. The presentation will be the third part of a very special evening at the 2017 Guild Show that begins with the live auction.
The shopping is not over when the salesroom doors close on Saturday, for that is when the auction room opens. The auction committee has been soliciting special pieces from IGMA Artisan and Fellow members, as well as other unique items from donations from the collecting public.
A buffet dinner will follow the auction followed by the very special program by Kaye Browning.

The Guild Show rate for hotel rooms is $135 per night. To take advantage of the group rate, reservations must be made by 09/06/17 or until the room block is full. Click here to make a reservation.
This rate includes a full breakfast buffet for 2 for the length of your stay. The rooms have refrigerators and complimentary WI-FI. The rate is good for 3 days prior to 09/19/17 and 3 days after 09/24/17.
The Hartford/Windsor Marriott Airport Hotel is located in Windsor, CT. The hotel is easily accessible by all major highways. Visit the hotel website for detailed driving directions from your starting location, and bus and train transportation. The hotel has a free shuttle to and from Bradley International Airport. Parking at the hotel is free and plentiful. There is also a hotel shuttle from the train stations, Windsor and Windsor Locks. You will need to call the hotel for pick-up.
