INSTRUCTOR: Carol Wagner, Fellow
COURSE: Flower and Plant Making
PROJECT: Morning Glory Vine on a Dead Tree Trunk

In this class students will make a morning glory vine on a pre-“planted” dead tree trunk. No two tree trunks will be the same so each project will be unique. Students will hand cut, paint, and form the leaves and morning glory trumpets. They will learn how to make the brass wire vines and prepare them for the leaves and blooms; then, shape the vine form on the tree trunk. Included will be instruction for making a realistic fern and hand cutting and painting wildflowers to be assembled and planted at the base of the tree trunk.
