INSTRUCTOR: Francine Coyon, Artisan
COURSE: Wicker, Wood, and Patina
PROJECT: Pushchairs and Moses Basket

Students will be shown how to make two pushchairs of different sizes. They will have the opportunity to practice weaving before actually starting the pushchairs. Wheels will be provided. A moto tool will be used for making holes in the bases of the pushchairs. Then, students will make a small wicker Moses basket for a small baby. The instructor will do step-by-step demonstrations and will give each student some written explanations and drawings.
If students have dolls, they could bring them, and they could adapt the size of the pushchairs to accommodate the doll. In this class, there are no rules, no stress; only pleasure in weaving.
