Have a Seat! Furniture, Part 1

So you finally finished that room box. If you’re like me, you’ve probably already got enough pieces in reserve to furnish it twice over, but if not, or if you’re still looking for that perfect table/chair/cabinet, the Guild Show will provide you with an excellent array of dealers who make and/or sell furniture.

Marty and Lisa Stark, the faces behind Lilliput Land, represents a number of world class furniture makers. Several are from Great Britain, Mark Gooch, Neil Bateson and Chris Malcomson among them. Chris Malcomson has been making a name for himself with amazing marquetry work on many of his pieces, and Mark Gooch just makes a whole array of fantastic period pieces.

Uncle Ciggie’s Miniatures is the work of Vicky Sanford. Vicky specializes in wicker furniture and accessories for indoor and outdoor uses and in several scales, so if you’ve run out of room for 1/12 and are thinking about trying 1/24 or 1/48 scale, she may have something tailor made for you.
